To pay tribute to late T. Pitambar Raju  through song a musial evening arranged where all KCS members along with the family member of late Raju bhai came to pay homage.
To soften the climate from Flutes tune a summer camp was organised in KCS where around 25 participants took training to play flute from the flute master sri Robin Mahanandia

Sizzling show in Himanchal Pradesh by KCS

From the hilly eastern Ghat to the picturesque Himanchal Pradesh the KCS team has again proved their talent. 
Participating in a All India Dance Drama Competition festival organised by FLY FLOT Forum  at Solan Himanchal Pradesh. The all India competition was sponsored by the Department of Culture, Government of Himanchal Pradesh, KCS Koraput has begged 7 prizes and one special award.
Prizes have rained in the Himalayas and the artiste of Koraput Cultural Society took REMO to the hills and enthraled the audience and the jury.

KCS lauded in Rajasthan

In December 2015, KCS has participated in a national theater festival being organised in Alwar, Rajasthan and staged one of its play JHARAKA (the Window).

The Team also participated in folk dance competition and stood first.








 KCS too adjudged as the best team in the street march and Ms. Sibani Khara lead female artiste has won the best actress award.

REMO staged at Rabindra Manadap, Bhubaneswar





Koraput cultural society has staged REMO at prestigious Rabindra Mandap at Bhubaneswar on 13th September as part of the Natya Dhara's 40th play. It was a full house and eminent theatre personality, renowed artist, academician and political leaders have witnessed the play and have appreciated and applauded artiste for their spellbound performance.




The play also brought together the people of Koraput district who are living in Bhubaneswar to cheer the artiste.

Zonal Theatre Festival held in KCS

In order to promote and popularize threatre in the region, a zonal theatre festival was organized in KCS open air auditorium Koraput from 15th May to 17th May 2015. 


The audience and the theatre lover people of Koraput had the opportunity to watch three implausible theatre back to back from the evening of 15th May. 


While, the Golden MIG Kala Parishad, Sunabeda have staged their most popular play “You are under arrest” on the first evening and on the second evening,  The Kalahandi Kalakar Sangh, Bhawanipatna performed “Drushyantara” mesmerized the audience. On the third evening, The Narang Natak Academy from Nabarangpur staged their play “Hare Murari” which got the huge applause of the theatre lovers of Koraput. 



On the concluding day, KCS organized a special drama titled “AABU” being performed by the students of the theatre workshop. The zonal theatre festival was organized jointly by District Council of Culture, Koraput, The Odisha Sangeeta Natak Academy and Koraput Cultural Society respectively.
