KCS, Koraput has
organized the Remembering SARGAM, a musical night on 28
th of
December 2014. The event was organized to honour and a mark of remembrance to
SARGAM Orchestra which was set up during 1989 and staged memorable melody
programmes in undivided Koraput district, within and outside Odisha.

Some of
the old artiste of SARGAM has teamed up with some upcoming young singer and musicians
from the town. Artiste from Sargarm, Shri Sunil Patnaik, Umi Daniel, China Raju, Bulu Ratha, Hemanth Patnaik have facilitated the programme. Bithika Apa from Bana Bharati, who has encouraged SARGAM has been facilitated by KCS. KCS has resolved to organize the event every year. Support was
poured in from District Administration Koraput for organizing the cultural
event.
