KORAPUT CULTURAL SOCIETY (KCS)

On the backdrop of lush green fauna and fountain of Koraput, mesmerizing beauty of music and art of tribal, in 1989 Koraput Cultural Society was setup by few enthusiastic artiste and creative individuals committed to preserve, create, experiment and promote traditional art, song, dance and theater forms of Koraput district . Today KCS has been transformed into an institution educating and entertaining the people of India through its diverse creative art, dance, music and theater.

World Theatre Day Celebration in KCS

KCS has celebrated world theatre day on 27^th March 2015. The event was inaugurated by eminent writer Sri Gouri Prasad Rath and Sri Ranjan Samal grace the occasion as guest. Sri Siba Prasad Rath, President of KCS has facilitated the programme and all the members of KCS was present in the event. During the occasion, Aina an Odia theatre written by Shri Gouri Prasad Rath was staged.
